New Year, New Beginnings!

It has certainly been a while since I posted, after making a resolution to post more.  Oh well, such is life.  I picked up more hours at work in November so I ran out of time really to get posts done as regularly as I wanted to.

The resolution for the year 2017 is to be more organised, so I’m determined to be so.  We’re only 5 days into the New Year and I’ve already cleared out our living room, cleaned the kids’ rooms and decluttered a bunch of stuff from random areas of the house.  The part I’m not looking forward to is the laundry, which has kind of become the cats’ room and therefore somewhat neglected in terms of decorating and function – it works as a laundry, washing and drying clothes, but that’s it.  I’d love to make that space more functional – even in terms of being able to hang stuff up in there to dry and such.  There’s also the original toilet in there which needs replacing completely, which will hopefully not be an expensive exercise.

All in all, I’m looking forward to what this new year will bring; but I’m not looking forward to heading back to work next week, when I will be thrown off my routine that I’ve developed over the past 1.5 weeks, and then again in February when my daughter starts school, which will throw things right off again.  But life is full of challenges, so consider me up for it!

Cheers to being more organized. That is always something I try to do more of, and struggle. I think it’s more an issue of time management though haha.

It’s really cool to find a pagan blogger. I’m not sure what I’d call myself; I haven’t really committed to a set path per se, but I definitely consider myself to be in the pagan/witch-y type family. 🙂 If you haven’t seen the Golden Thread Tarot yet, you need too. I have them and they are incredible!
